Please contact us through our website. A deposit of 50% secures your booking with the balance due one month before your visit. We ask for a deposit of 100 euros refundable at the end of your visit providing you leave the accommodation clean and tidy.  Prices for the mobile home available on request.

Penn ar Lenn has 2 on-road parking spaces. The front door opens into a large kitchen/diner with living room to the right and utility area and bathroom with bath/shower and W.C. to the left. Two separate staircases lead to the bedrooms upstairs. Guests with restricted mobility may find the stairs a little steep or the slate floor a little uneven.

The accommodation is kitted out for six guests, and appropriate cleaning materials are supplied to ensure your accommodation is left as you found it and your deposit returned. There is satellite t.v. installed if you wish to use it. We may make a small charge for wood depending on the season, to be advised at the time of your booking.

Bed linen and towels can be provided for £12 per double or £8 per single, or you may choose to bring your own. Beds have duvets and pillows provided.

A welcome pack including bread, butter, jam, croissants or pain au chocolat, milk, water, fruit juice and bottle of wine can be waiting for you on request for a small charge. Please contact us closer to your arrival should you wish us to do any shopping for you before you arrive.

We can advise you on anything you wish to know about the area and there will be information of local interest, events, contacts and attractions in English for you to browse through. Although there are relatively few English people here, you will find the local people welcoming, friendly and helpful, and appreciative of any attempt you make to speak French or indeed Breton! A dictionary will also be available for your use.

Directions will be forwarded to you closer to your holiday. The most convenient travel link from the UK is the Plymouth to Roscoff Brittany Ferry service, and from Roscoff it is a pleasant journey which takes just over an hour by car. We can arrange transport to and from Roscoff if required.  Alternatively you may enter Brittany through Brest International Airport served by several budget airlines, or by rail from Paris.  Other travel times from ferry ports are: from St Malo about 21/2 hours (Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth) or for a cheaper crossing, LD Lines ferry from Portsmouth to Le Havre (approximately 4 hours drive). There is a limited bus service from Roscoff or a train from Roscoff to Brest, then Brest to Pont-de-Buis rail station about 1 mile from Penn ar Lenn. The N164 expressway runs north-south Brittany with Chateaulin being the closest exit, or alternatively the N165 running from east to west, again exiting at Chateaulin.  This is a rural area and bus services are limited but do run from the rail station in Pont de Buis, however there are two taxi firms in Pont de Buis with one run by a lady who speaks excellent English.

There are doctors in Pont de Buis, Chateulin and Pleyben in case of need and pharmacists are extremely well informed and able to help. The local hospital is at Quimper in case of emergency.
